Welcome to Alpha Chi Omega!

Alpha Chi Omega is a national women’s organization that enriches the lives of members through lifetime opportunities including friendship, leadership, learning and service. There are 131 chapters, from coast to coast, with nearly 12,000 collegiate members giving back to their communities, developing life-long learning habits, and making friends that will last a lifetime.

Alpha Chi Omega was founded in 1885 as a women’s fraternity. Since its inception, Alpha Chi Omega has existed to assist members in seeking the heights. As beneficiaries of the heritage and history of Alpha Chi Omega, members of Alpha Chi Omega strive to be both true to and worthy of the legacy of the Fraternity.

The objects of this Fraternity shall be to encourage the spirit of true sisterhood, to develop through personal effort a high moral and mental standard, and to advance the appreciation and practice of fine arts among its members.

-A Letter From The President-

10413436_10204312047713428_3972969722901305698_nMy name is Kaitlin Riffe and I am honored to serve as the 2015 Chapter President of the Delta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Southeast Missouri State University. Thank you for taking the time to visit our webpage and learn more about our amazing organization!

Alpha Chi Omega is a sisterhood of more than 200,000 members in more than 130 collegiate chapters and 200 alumnae chapters nationwide. We as an organization encourage women during their undergraduate college careers and for the rest of their lives after to become “Real. Strong. Women.”

Personally, I joined Alpha Chi Omega my sophomore year of college. After the very first night of Recruitment I knew that no matter where I found my home, going Greek was not going to be a decision I regretted. I was lucky enough to find myself running to Alpha Chi Omega on Bid Day and my life hasn’t been the same since. The women of Alpha Chi Omega have become sisters that I can laugh with, cry with, and depend on. Our diverse chapter has members involved in organizations all over campus; Not just in Greek Life.

Alpha Chi Omega is an experience that has continued to push me into becoming a better version of myself. I, like so many of my sisters, found my home and a family in Alpha Chi Omega, and highly encourage anyone considering going through Formal Recruitment in the Fall to do the same! For more information please visit semogreeks.com, our recruitment page, or send me an email personally!
